The Russian SKS is a gas operated, semi-automatic firearm engineered to be a military rifle. It utilizes a tilting bolt action system. Integrated into the rifle are a 5-round magazine and folding bayonet. This rifle is in superb condition with no dents, dings or rust. It has been fired only 5 times. It was made in the Tula armoury in Russia in 1954. All serial numbers match. Comes with ammo and a gun case. Russian SKS values have traditionally been higher as a consequence of their status as the original SKS model and their comparatively more limited production run. The most famous Russian SKS variant was produced at Tula Arsenal from 1945 to 1958. Buyer must bring along his/her FAC.

This lovely pair of Hartt “Gold Bond” Derbies in 8.5D is now up for grabs! They feature full-grain calf, full-leather linings, Goodyear-welted double-leather soles, nailed Biltrite rubber heels, and new laces. Outers, inners and soles are all in excellent, almost-new condition. These shoes have recently been professionally cleaned, conditioned and polished. Hartt, of Fredericton, New Brunswick, was one of the great names in Canadian shoemaking. The Hartt Boot and Shoe Company Ltd. was founded in 1898. The company was eventually acquired by the A.H. Marston Corp. (who already controlled the famous Dack’s brand) in 1957 or 1958. The decision was soon made to move all production for both brands to the Hartt factory, so all Canadian Dack’s or Hartt shoes were henceforth produced in that same factory. The two brands were very similar and offered many identical products. The Dack’s brand was sold via the company’s own stores in major centres and at Eaton’s, while the Hartt name was offered at Simpson’s and also marketed by way of smaller, independent shoe stores throughout the country. Sadly, as in so many other industries, Canadian production stopped altogether in 1999. Buy these excellent Canadian-made shoes for the bargain price of $60, instead of a crappy pair of Chinese shoes from the mall for twice as much! Shoe trees NOT included. The price is firm and if you see this ad, the shoes are still available...
