HATE HATE HATE to let this go. It's been on my board for almost a decade. But,
alas, somebody else deserves to have it now, as I rarely play anymore.
I purchased this solely based on the fact that it's the tremolo pedal that
Johnny Greenwood (Radiohead) uses, as Johnny has always been somewhat of a
guitar hero of mine. So I hunted down the same vintage type, spent almost $600
at the time. And here we are.
The Demeter TRM-1 Tremulator is a tremolo pedal which has been manufactured by
Demeter Amplification since 1982. It was apparently designed at the request of
guitarist Ry Cooder, who wanted a pedal that sounded exactly like a vintage
Fender tremolo unit for use with any amp.
With the DEPTH rolled all the way back, it actually acts as a volume boost
pedal with 1db of gain. Bit of wear-n-tear in the paint, and missing two (of 4)
little back plate screws that you can grab at any hardware store. Velcro on
bottom. I hope it finds a good home.
