From the Shadows; Surviving the Depths of Mental Illness is a Newly published
book released on Sept 28, 2022 and writen by First Time local author, E.
Pauline Spurrell. The book is about her life’s journey with Mental Illness. It
is now available through Friesen Press, Amazon, Barns and Noble, and Kindle on
line just to name a few of the more popular distributors. It is also NOW on the
shelves of Chapters, Indigo, and Coles brick and mortar stores. Pauline can be
contacted through her email - spurrell.pauline@gmail.com, or by phone at 709
427 1932. A signed copy of the book can be picked up in Hillview or it can be
mailed anywhere in NL for a $10.00 postage fee.
The book is about Pauline's life with mental illness; from her early childhood
- when everything was normal, through the turbulent years - when metal illness
took hold of her life and pulled her into the depths of despair, and through
her struggles to get back to a life of normalcy. Her hope is that this book
will help individuals living directly, or indirectly, with metal illness know
that they are NOT ALONE, that they DO NOT need to suffer in silence, and that
she is living proof that there is HOPE. She has received many accolades from
those who have read the book stating they now have a better understanding of
metal illness. She has also received private messages from those who suffer
with, or love someone who suffers with, mental illness telling her they now
have RENEWED HOPE! It is definetly worth the read!
Its now time to talk!
