Sat July 21st 9:00 am -Registration at GVC 10:00 am -Bike ride from GVC to Crows Head and back to GVC 4:30 pm -BBQ 7:00 pm -Church service The Opioid Crisis is causing grief and sorrow in epidemic proportions worldwide and right here in Newfoundland and Labrador. Canada is in the midst of an epidemic of opioid use and abuse. Substance addiction has a severe impact not only on the individual, but those closest to them and society as a whole. In 2017 over 7000 individuals from across Newfoundland and Labrador visited the U-Turn addictions Center in Carbonear seeking the help, encouragement and healing they need to overcome their addiction to substance abuse of all kinds. Sadly there are many people across the province that because of the distance, cannot avail of the services that U-Turn offers. In response to the need, U-Turn is looking to open drop in centers across the province. Please join us as we ride together to support U-Turn Addictions Center in bringing the delivering power of the risen Christ to those who have hit rock bottom. Satan may have them in chains right now, but we know that there is a Savior, who can break those chains for good. To collect donations to support U-Turn please download and print this sponsor sheet. Please print clearly when filling it out. This information is needed to issue receipts to your sponsors for income tax purposes. To get your donation sheet click here: https://drive.google.com/file/d/12Cobx3ecg7R-EaNp9A7Fc_TKczWIJxUd/view?usp=sharing We also need volunteers during the registration, BBQ and church service. If your would like to help out please leave a comment. You do not need to have a motorcycle to volunteer during the event. And please don't forget to share this event with all your Facebook friends and followers.
