The popular documentary Regarding Our Father that tells the life and times of Newfoundland folksong collector Gerald S. Doyle. The documentary uses 16 mm colour footage of dozens of Newfoundland outports, from the 1930s, 40s and 50s. Outstanding footage that Doyle shot with his own movie camera as he travelled around Newfoundland by boat. Also contains lots of Newfoundland music.
