TRAM TITAN II Base SSB CB Radio. This is from a CB radio collection and was
used for a display. It is a tube CB radio and hasn't been used since 1990 but
was working then. Because it is a tube CB radio and hasn't been used in a
while, it should be checked out by a technician who knows tube radios before
plugging it in.
This was the most expensive CB Tram made at the time and includes a high
quality collins filter. It has a separate transmitter and receiver in one large
cabinet. The 23 channel transmitter is crystal controlled and the receiver is
tune-able to any CB channel. Original sold for around $500US in 1969. You could
buy a new VW Bug car for around $1500 in 1969. This is Tram's version of the
Golden Eagles Base CB radio with separate transmitter/receiver.
It's in decent shape for it's age but not mint (see photos). It does not have
a microphone and is sold untested but comes with a copy of the user's manual.
That is why I'm selling it for only $150 but that's a firm price. It was
original sold with different mics as an option. At one time Tram offered
D-104's or lollipop mics as an option but most were sold with the smaller black
or silver Tuner desk microphone.
Serious inquires only please.
