Supervisor duties:
Supervise, co-ordinate and schedule the activities of staff who prepare,
portion and serve food
Estimate and order ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation
Prepare food for customers
Establish work schedules and procedures
Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage
Train staff in job duties, and sanitation and safety procedures
Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards
May participate in the selection of food service staff and assist in the
development of policies, procedures and budgets
determine related food and labour costs.
Kitchen helper duties:
Portion and wrap foods, Keep records of the quantities of food used, Prepare,
heat and finish simple food items, Use manual and electrical appliances to
clean, peel, slice and trim foodstuffs, Package take-out food, Stock
refrigerators and salad bars
Dishwashing Skills
Place dishes in storage area, Scour pots and pans, Sanitize and wash dishes
and other items by hand, Clean and sanitize items such as dishwasher mats,
carts and waste disposal units

We are hiring experienced 4 Indian Cook for our new locations (9 waldegrave
street and 430 Torbay Road, St. John's). Experience must.
Job duties:
•
Maintain sanitation and safety standards in work area at all times.
•
Monitor and maintain clean working area and cooking surfaces to make Indian
dishes (all Indian meal, fish, chicken, meat, Tandoor, etc.), pizzas, fries,
samosa’s, salads, chicken wings, chicken bites, etc.
•
Evaluate all food requirements and maintain standard level and quantity for
same at all times and place weekly food order.
•
Coordinate with customers to take all food and drinks orders and ensure
appropriate payments from all customers.
•
Manage all food order slips and administer all verbal instructions and perform
all cooking as per instructions.
•
Prepare all raw materials required for cooking such as cutting all vegetables,
Pizza sauce, other sauces (Butter chicken, donair, Alfredo, spicy Indian past,
sweet chilli sauce, etc) and preparing dough.
•
Cook Indian food as per customer order.
•
Make Indian sweets as per customer order.
•
Develop new recipes and dishes for change.
•
Monitor and ensure exact measurement of all ingredients for all food items.
•
Prepare all package food items and train all the staff.
•
Analyze all customer order and ensure appropriate number of all order for all
customers.
