Siltronix model 1011D, 10 meter tube-type "HAM" radio that also covered the CB
radio band (11 meters). The "D" model was the last in the series of 1011 model
radios from Siltronix and many consider the best of the series. The Siltronix
radios were actually a Swan HAM radio sold under the Siltronix name. In the
1970's and 80's many CB radio operators used these on the CB band even thought
they were not typed accepted for that band. Originally sold as the Swan 1011
and later as the Siltronix's 1011. See ad below:

I bought this radio from ebay about 3 years ago for $350 plus another $90 for
shipping. I plugged it in and used it for 1 day. The next day, I tried to turn
it on and nothing lit up. I check the fuse on the back and it looked good. I
put it away and never used it since. I believe it's only a simple fix (may be
an internal fuse or a bad connection) because it just wouldn't power on. I just
recently discovered it again but I can't find the power cord. I'm selling it
for $175 because of this. These are very collectable radios and would make a
nice nostalgic radio to have. It's in extremally good condition. Local pick up
in the St. John's area only.

Trade Newer Baofang scanner for older Shortwave radio like a Realistic DX160 or
DX200.
This scanner has a Li-ion rechargeable battery and charging stand. I find this
radio too complicated to operate and program for me.

ICOM 720A All Mode General Coverage Transceiver with original Hand mic. At one
time, it was ICOM's top of the line transceiver.
The Icom IC-720A is an all solid state transceiver covering nine amateur HF
bands. It features two digitally synthesized 10 Hz VFOs. Enhancements include
RF speech processor, RIT, CW semi break-in, noise blanker and VOX. The IC-720A
has has a quad-conversion, general coverage receiver that tunes 100 kHz to 30
MHz. Power output is: SSB 10~100W, AM 10~40W, CW/RTTY 10~100W.
I actually bought this because I wanted the top rated ICOM R71A general
coverage communications receiver that tunes 100 kHz to 30 MHz but couldn't find
one at the time and was told this transceiver has almost the same general
coverage receiver as the R71A.
This radio requires a 12 VDC at 20 Amps Power supply not included.
