The Realistic (made by Allied) SX-190 receiver is a solid state shortwave receiver with 11 bands and is very rare for an analog receiver (Pre digital) to have a dial with a frequency accuracy of 1 kHz. Most analog shortwave radios have problems finding the correct frequency of a station. It wasn't until digital display models came around before we had many receivers with this accuracy. This radio covers certain bands between 3.5 MHz & 30 MHz and does not include the local broadcast band between 550 kHz & 1.7 MHz. It's designed as a pure Shortwave Receiver and receivers AM/USB/LSB. I don't have the optional speaker. This was used as a radio display but I have used it in the past with headphones. It's solid state and weights around 20 lbs. Several magazines in the past voted it one of the most beautiful receivers ever made and compared it visually to the super expensive National HRO receiver. Ad shows info on radio and it was sold from 1972 on wards under the Realistic & Allied brand names. It was also sold as two different models. The SX190 was the SWL version and covered most Shortwave bands and some HAM bands while the AX190 covered mainly HAM bands and some Shortwave bands. I have the SX190 model. Vintage NOS 1950's & 60's Shure Microphone with sales tags. Perfect to match a vintage transmitter/transceiver like Heathkit, Swan, Johnson Viking, Yaesu, etc. I'm told It uses a 99B86 element - the same element as used in Shure Green Bullet and 520 series microphones. Some remove these large elements from the case and use them to record music to get that classic50's sound.

I bought then and never set it up.

Yaesu FRG-9600 VHF-UHF receiver has continues covers from 60 to 905 MHz modes: AM, AM-W, FM-W, FM-N, USB and LSB. 100 memories organized in ten banks of ten. Other features include: Clock-Timer, Recorder Activation, Tuning Meter, Squelch, Tone, Priority and headphone jack. Other jacks include: MPX, 8VDC output, CAT, mute, record out and external speaker out. Originally cost $529 US dollars. Recently send to a Yaesu Dealer for an alignment. This is more of a Communications Receiver than a scanner.

Excellent working condition. Like new, takes 9 AA batteries or rechargeables.
