Sears had tools manufactured for them by quality manufacturers to sell as their Craftsman house brand. Likewise, Canadian Tire has used the same model for their Mastercraft line. The greatest of the Canadian department stores was the famous Eaton's chain. To the best of my knowledge (please correct me if I'm wrong), Eaton's never had a brick & mortar store in Newfoundland, but, at least at one point, did maintain a depot for catalogue sales. But, I digress... Eaton's had their own line of tools and hardware called TecoMaster (Teco = "Timothy Eaton CO"), and the TecoMaster Professional line was comprised of their better offerings. This set dates from the late 1960s to very early 1970s. This cool old 1/2'-drive socket set once had a ratchet included that is now gone. The ratchet has been replaced by an old, period-correct Canadian-made Proto. Also included is a breaker bar, an extension, a sparkplug socket and sockets from 7/16" through 1-1/8". (The 1/2" and 3/4" sockets have been replaced by Gray.) This is an opportunity to not only get a good set of tools, but also a true piece of Canadiana!
