Job Overview
Caribou Industries are currently hiring dedicated and hardworking Heavy
Equipment operators to join our logging team. The ideal candidate will be
responsible for ensuring that all tasks are completed with precision and care.
Qualifications:
-Valid Class 08 license
-2 Years experience operating heavy equipment
-Experience operating production equipment such as Harvesters, Feller
Bunchers, or Log Loaders.
-A clean Drivers Abstract
-General Mechanical knowledge to maintain equipment.
-Available for shift work
(Work locations vary based on harvesting locations)
Responsibilities:
-Operation of Harvester, Feller Buncher, Log Loader, or Skidder
-Conduct inspections to ensure equipment safety and compliance with
regulations.
-Perform minor automotive repairs and troubleshooting as needed to ensure
optimal vehicle performance.
-Collaborate with team members to coordinate logistics and meet delivery
schedules.
Summary:
As a heavy equipment operator, you will be essential in managing timber
harvesting operations, reporting directly to the Operations Manager. Your role
focuses on efficiently operating heavy equipment to harvest, fell and bunch
trees while ensuring safety and adherence to environmental regulations. Skills
in landscape maintenance will support your daily tasks, while skills in
mechanical knowledge and heavy equipment operation will enhance productivity
and will also play a vital role in optimizing operations and contributing to
the overall success of our forestry initiatives.

Pay: $28.00-$35.00 per hour
