** WINTER PROJECT**


1985 Honda Nighthawk S CB750SC.
Will need the following repair
Starter/alternator chain broke and needs replacing. Not at all an uncommon issue for some of the 80's Honda inline 4's
The part needed for the repair is # 28161-MJ0-950 alternator chain from a 91-2003 CB750 Nighthawk. This is an upgraded stronger chain made by Honda.
** NOTE** Timing is everything and this alternator chain does not affect timing. It only drives the alternator as well as cranks the engine via the starter motor.
Odometer is just past 79k, however does not in any way reflect the condition of bike. Previous to the chain breaking I owned and rode the bike every season for passed 16 years. Many new parts and upgrades
Tank, carbs and cylinders were drained & prepared for extended storage. Being sold by registered owner.
