We care for children ages 18 months to 12 years of age and are currently hiring Trainee - Level 4 Early Childhood Educators.     Job Description Event Host (Part-Time – Evenings/Weekends) – The Lantern Position Summary The Event Host helps The Lantern stay open for programs and events outside of normal business hours. The position is responsible for supervising the front desk, welcoming program facilitators and participants, monitoring facility usage, and assisting with client requests. The Event Host is the main point of contact for clients and program participants while on duty. This primarily involves welcoming clients and guests to The Lantern, directing them to their respective meeting rooms, and ensuring they have everything they need for the duration of their stay. This position is also responsible for the facility, dealing with any issues as they arise, ensuring heat and lights are on/off, and the security system is set up on exit. On occasion, the Event Host may be requested to assist with setting up for events, ongoing event support, and tear-down. Working Conditions This position primarily occupies desk space in an office environment; however, the Event Host is also required to navigate stairs while on duty, and light lifting may be required. Working hours for the position vary and typically occur in 4-5hr shifts during weekday evenings (anytime between 5pm and 10pm) and on weekends (anytime between 8am and 11pm).
