1981 Suzuki GS1000L 45,713km $1250.00 Bike was purchased from a mutual friend because they bought a new motorcycle and needed it gone. Had a few parts missing that have been replaced and it is now licensed and insured and in my name. Great looking vintage motorcycle in mostly original condition that would make a great street bike for someone. The bulk of the bike is original and clean. Dual front disc brakes. Rear disc brake. Low maintenance shaft-drive setup. Vance & Hines exhaust. UNI air-pods. Previous owner installed a jetting kit to compensate for the additional airflow. Bike runs but is difficult to start. Needs to be tuned and possibly re-jetted. Replaced the old indicators with new modern Suzuki units from a Boulevard. Gas tank was painted and looks decent but it has pinholes that will likely continue to make it bubble. Some bubbles started after the new paint. It might be able to be lined internally… I would continue to look for a good replacement tank before selling this bike but I want the space in my garage for a new project. Trades considered with photos and description only. Cash preferred (because I need the space).

This is a 2019 Suzuki DR200S. It has a large fuel tank (12.5 L), with fuel consumption at approximately 40 KM/L resulting in a long riding range, relatively light weight, simple to maintain, reliable, easy to ride, low seat height for shorter riders, simplicity, a low first gear, can handle fairly rough trails at a moderate pace, and smooth throttle transitions. It has a carburetor, no computers or electronics for fuel/air, just a simple tested and true design. I am the original owner of this bike. Properly timed maintenance routines have always been completed as per the owner's manual. It has always been stored inside for winter, primarily driven on the pavement and never abused or driven hard. There have been no mods to this bike. It has just over 6000 KM. I have cared for this bike and kept it in excellent condition. If the requirement is a simple, lightweight, fuel efficient, dependable bike for the trail or the pavement then the DR200S is hard to beat. This bike is suitable for the first time bike owner or the seasoned veteran. It's a fun bike to ride and very comfortable as well.
