We are looking for the right new home for our dog. Oskar is an almost 10 year old male shih tzu cross. He is hypoallergenic and non shedding. We have had him since a puppy. Here's the thing, he has a special sort of temperament. He loves certain people, tolerates others and just doesn't like some. In general he's a grump lol we have two small kids who he really doesn't care for, and we recently moved to a house that has a lot of stairs that he finds hard. He def doesn't get the time and attention he should so we have decided that if we could find the right new owners he would be much happier. He's in good health and likes getting out for walks and is also content to nap most of the day. We had a second dog that passed in 2020 so hes likely off since he was raised with another dog. He would do best with someone who works from home or is retired, no small children. He hasn't been around cats so I cant speak on that and he is ok with other dogs as long as they don't bother him. We don't need to give him away so we will be super picky as we want to ensure he is taken care of properly. We just feel he would be happier in a different environment than ours.
