This beautiful waterfront property sits on the shores of Rocky Harbour,
Newfoundland, Canada. Rocky Harbour is the hospitality core of Gros Morne
National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage site, the largest town in the park, and
has many restaurants, artist galleries and summer music venues. Gros Morne
National Park welcomes approximately 240,000 visitors per year.
Our B&B was formerly a Salvation Army Church. It has been completely
transformed into a light and airy seaside Bed and Breakfast in 2014 and has
welcomed guests since 2007.
The Candlelight B&B has been very well maintained, and has 6 large suites, all
with their own 4-piece ensuite bathrooms. There are four suites on the main
level with town/harbour views and 2 upper suites with direct views of the
harbour and the Long Range Mountains. Handcrafted furniture, top of line
linens, mini fridges with freezers, 32 flat screened tv’s, accent chairs and
tables are included in each room. The large B&B kitchen has spacious seating
for 12 guests, and large cathedral ceilings featuring the original church
lights. This space is an inviting atmosphere to visit with other guests from
around the world. Guests can also enjoy a large deck on the back of the house
with Adirondack chairs, two chaise lounge chairs and two picnic tables.
Sweeping vistas of Salmon Point to the left, the town of Rocky Harbour and
Lobster Cove Head Lighthouse to the right, frame our waterfront view.
