These quality brand shoes are in great shape and are lightly worn . Selling

These classic Florsheim Plain-Toe Bluchers in Black are now available. This is
a vintage Canadian-made 77513 model in a hard-to-find 11.5E. The shoes are in
excellent, near-new condition and look better in person than in the overexposed
photos attached.
Some history: Florsheim is one of the best-known shoemakers in the world, with
a history dating back to 1892. At some time in the late 1950s (1959, I
believe), the company that then controlled Florsheim also acquired the greatest
of ALL the Canadian shoemakers - the John McHale Company of London, ON - and
the McHale plant subsequently began producing the Canadian Florsheim products
too. I've never been able to find out exactly when Florsheim closed this plant
and ceased Canadian production, but I'd guess it was the 1980s or 1990s.
These bluchers feature the desired Goodyear-welting of quality footwear, thick
double-leather soles, beautiful, smooth exteriors, half-leather-lined insoles
and padding under the tongue.
Grab these high-quality Canadian shoes for less than some crappy pair of
Chinese-made shoes from the Avalon Mall!
IF YOU SEE THIS AD, THE SHOES ARE AVAILABLE AND THE PRICE IS FIRM.

Nunn-Bush has been making quality shoes for over a century.
On offer is this lovely pair of Chocolate Brown Bluchers in size 9.5EE.
They feature a half-leather lining, leather outsoles, and nailed Biltrite
rubber heels. They are constructed using the Goodyear-welt process (the way a
quality shoe is made) that permits repairs. The shoes have been fully cleaned,
conditioned and polished and the leather is soft and in excellent condition.
Grab a quality pair of shoes for a fraction of a lousy pair of Chinese shoes
from the local mall!
Shoe trees are NOT included!

Do you remember when we used to make stuff in Canada? I do, but barely.
Of course, there are still a few things that are made here, but the days of
consumer goods sporting a "Made in Canada" label are mostly gone. And the few
footwear manufacturers still producing in this country tend to be very high-end
custom-order outfits like Viberg and Dayton.
Well, here's an opportunity to slip into a very nice pair of vintage Jarman
Benchmark Apron Loafers for less than a pair of Chinese shoes from the Avalon
Mall. These elegant shoes feature a leather sole and a half-leather lining
along with a cushion tread rubber heel.
These sold for north of $200 before taxes back-in-the-day. Put 'em on your
feet for under a C-note!
OR put them on the feet of a loved one: these would make an AWESOME Father's
Day gift!

Dack’s was THE brand of men’s shoes in Canada for many decades. Founded in
York, Ontario in 1834 months before the city changed its name to Toronto, they
offered both Canadian-made shoes of the highest quality, along with Church or
Cheaney shoes from England.
One of the other great names in Canadian shoemaking was Hartt, of Fredericton,
New Brunswick. The Hartt Boot and Shoe Company Ltd. was founded in 1898 and was
eventually acquired by Dack’s in 1957. Dack’s soon made the decision to move
all production for both brands to the Hartt factory, so all Canadian Dack’s or
Hartt shoes were produced in that same factory.
Sadly, as in so many other industries, Canadian production stopped altogether
in 1999. The company offered very nice English-made shoes until 2009 when,
after 175 years, the business was closed.
In 2012, the Dack’s name was re-launched as Matthew Dack, but all sales are
online and all production in England. Meanwhile, the Hartt label is also back –
with current production in Spain - but the companies are no longer connected.
On offer is this wonderful pair of Dack's Black Water Bison Derbies in size 9F.
They were hand-crafted in the Hartt factory in Fredericton and are from the
"Custom Grade" line - one of the highest-quality lines that Dack's offered.
These shoes would have sold for $400 or more. They feature imported Water
Bison, a half-leather lining, leather insoles, leather outsoles, and nailed
rubber heels. They are constructed using the Goodyear-welt process (the way a
quality shoe is made) that permits repairs.
If you buy these, not only will you have a handmade pair of bench-crafted
shoes of bespoke quality, you will literally be wearing Canadian history. If
you take good care of them, you can wear these shoes for the rest of your life
and will them to your son.
OR you could take your $90, go to the mall and pay much more for a crappy pair
of Chinese shoes.
Shoe trees are NOT included!
