Two Rare 1959 Philips Early Portable Transistor radios called "Auto Radios"

Two 1959 Philips Early Portable Transistor radios called "Auto Radios". Not many brought over to America from Europe.

Both radios, one cream color and one red color are early portable solid state transistor radios that came with an optional car radio bracket to install in cars that don't have factory radios. You could use it in the car while driving and pull it from it's bracket to bring in your home or cabin to use. They operate on 4 C batteries and cover the AM and the long wave band (Not used in North America).
