The 2012 GMC Sierra 1500 is a worthy competitor among fresher rivals,
bolstered by a wide range of body styles, capable performance and a comfortable
Although the current-generation GMC Sierra 1500 pickup debuted just four years
ago, its more recently redesigned rivals have topped it in a few respects. But
this doesn't mean the GMC is as stale as month-old bread. Far from it,
actually. Thanks to its core strengths, the 2012 GMC Sierra 1500 remains one of
the top trucks in the light-duty, full-size pickup segment.
In terms of expected characteristics such as towing capacity and a wide range
of body style and trim level choices, the Sierra 1500 is right up there with
the competition. The Sierra provides a smooth, quiet ride and comfortable
seating, traits that make it ideal for long road trips. The GMC isn't without
faults, however. Compared to some of its competition (notably Dodge and
Toyota), the base "Work" trim's cabin looks rather dull. And while other brands
have stepped up the output of their base engines over the years, the Sierra's
V6 struggles to motivate such a large truck. Lastly, maneuverability is
hampered by a large turning radius.
Comparatively, the Ford F-150 has more innovative technology features

2012 GMC Sierra 1500 models:
The 2012 GMC Sierra 1500 is a half-ton full-size pickup that is offered in
standard cab, extended cab and crew cab body styles. Standard cabs and extended
cabs are available with either a standard 6-foot-6 bed or an 8-foot long bed.
Crew cabs only come with a short 5-foot-8 bed.
Regular cabs can be had in base Work or midlevel SLE trims, while the extended
and crew cabs are also available in the well-appointed SLT trim. An SL trim
slots in between the Work and SLE models, but is only available as a crew cab,
as is the range-topping Denali.
The Work trim comes with air-conditioning (for extended- and crew-cab
versions), a trip computer, a tilt steering wheel, cruise control, OnStar
telematics, vinyl seat upholstery, a 40/20/40-split front bench seat and a
CD/MP3 stereo with an auxiliary audio jack and satellite radio. The SL adds
full power accessories, keyless entry, cruise control, satellite radio and

Lightweight and easily towed by a large SUV or small truck, this unit comes
complete with a sway bar and hitch valued alone over $500! Professionally spray
foam insulated underneath and fully inspected from front to back and everywhere
in between last summer, she’s in very good condition overall. Sleeps 8 between
a set of single bunk beds, queen bed slide out with upgraded mattress, and a
convertible dinette and pullout sofa. Includes a CD/Radio/DVD combo with a flat
screen TV that can be also be viewed from outside which our kids loved, outside
shower, A/C and furnace, too!
Included: LOTS! Toaster, coffee maker, pots, pans, some utensils and plates,
Cabella outdoor grill, etc.
Full disclosure because this is not a brand new camper! 1) The screen door is
in rough shape. The latch is broken and the metal is taped over in two places
with black duct tape. We always used the bigger door anyhow to keep the cool
A/C air in, probably should have just removed the screen door, I’m but if you’d
prefer to use the screen, you’ll likely need to replace it, 2) the linoleum has
a moon shaped “crack” just as you’re coming in, it’s been checked and it’s just
the linoleum and NOT the floor, 100% aesthetic so we didn’t bother replacing it
rather covered it up with an entrance mat, and 3) and last, the first time we
camped our kids pushed the button to pull the slide in without the couch being
down and cracked some wood off of one corner... again, 100% aesthetic, does not
function whatsoever. The price more than accurately reflects these issues!

near Gander at Joe Batts Pond, Central/Interior
The pond is freezing over and snow will (hopefully) arrive soon. This cabin is
a wonderful place to relax at any time of the year and in all weather
conditions. It is especially great for winter activities such as snowmobiling,
cross country skiing, ice fishing, snow shoeing, sliding or even an outdoor
fire in the shelter of the trees which surround this property. The groomed
snowmobile trail is at one end of Joe Batts Pond and there are many forest
access roads and trails nearby.
This cozy, rustic, spotlessly clean two bedroom cabin (24 feet x 28 feet plus
screen room and upstairs loft with the second bedroom and a storage area)
located on an acre of granted land (90 metres x 45 metres) on Joe Batt's Pond,
a short distance from Gander. There is water frontage on two sides of the land.
The main level has a kitchen, a living room and a dining room in an open area
as well as a master bedroom and a bathroom that has a tub/shower with a hot
water propane on demand system. The kitchen has a propane refrigerator and a
propane range which are included in the purchase price.
A pump brings water from the pond (except in winter). Electricity is from a
3000 watt Honda generator; when the generator is not turned on, a battery with

Brand new, has been assembled filled and tested. Hand crafted, locally made
product here in Newfoundland, both the tub and the stove! Can be used off grid
as it requires no electricity, it has little to no maintenance or upkeep,
especially compared to conventional hot tubs which require expensive chemicals
and take a toll on your power bill. Because it's local you won't need to pay
the enormous shipping cost if bought outside the province. The entire tub is
relatively light and can be lifted by 2 people. No chemicals, sealants or
plastic involved, just wood and metal.
Tub is 5.5' in diameter X 3’ tall and can fit 4 people spaciously, 5 people
would still be comfortable. The staves are made from 2x4 cedar that have all
been individually planed, flattened then angled. The floor is 2x6 cedar tongue
and grooved for a tight fit. It has a custom-made submersible marine-grade
aluminum wood-fired stove, with sliding cover drafter for controlling air flow
and heat. 5’ of stovepipe and cap included. Takes approximately 2.5 hours to
heat the tub full of water, which was cold, from a garden hose. And required
fairly little wood, about 2 milk crates of wood. This heating time would be
dramatically reduced if there was a cover over it. After the fire was allowed
to go out, the water remained hot for at least 2 hours afterwards. The next day
the water was still warm, that's without a cover.
All hardware is stainless steel, including the bands around the tub, all
screws used inside for securing the seating, and the 2-inch marine drain in the
bottom. There is a ball-valve attached to the drain that can accept a ¾” garden
hose for letting the water out. If you prefer to retain a 2” exit for faster
draining, the ball valve can be unscrewed and swapped out. The tub features a
6-sided slatted bench inside, as well as a safety fence between you and the
stove. All inside surfaces are rounded and sanded smooth, as is the top edge of

8 x 12 snowmobile utility trailer. Partial v in front with removable wood salt
shield. Factory trailer (Rainbow brand). Fits 2 quads or 2 skidoos or one side
by side. Has ramp that slides into chasis. I also made an extra ramp to extend
width. Deck is over the wheels...no wheel wells - 15 inch wheels. Good shape
with some surface rust.Tire are brand new but rims are rusty. Plywood replaced
a couple years ago...in good condition.
