    A First Edition Very Good Condition: A book that does not look new and has been read but is in excellent condition. No obvious damage to the cover, No missing or damaged pages, no creases or tears, and no underlining/highlighting of text or writing in the margins. The beauty of this piece is that it was in the Library on the Queen Elizabeth 1 when she was a troop ship. They would lend the books to seamen to read as they crossed the Atlantic to fight in World War 2.... This book was sold when she docked in New York Harbour on her last voyage as a troop ship and was sold to a Newfoundlander named, Hector Meadus on Christmas Day 1945 as the documentation on the inside pages shows. A real find for the conspicuous collector.
