I am testing the market for interest. I bought this boat in May of 2008 and used it until October 2008, at which time I pulled it out of the water and built a shelter over it while I intended to do some mechanical work over the winter. Unfortunately, the previous owner had not been forthcoming with some mechanical issues and I ran into some problems that took a lot longer to work out than I had hoped for. My job moved me from Nova Scotia to Newfoundland in 2013 and the boat came with me. I have since retired and lost some interest in finishing the boat and I am also tired of moving boat parts around. LoL! My FB Page has an album entitled CHRIS CRAFT COMMANDER REBUILD and I have hundreds of other photos taken over the course of 2-3 years while I was dismantling everything and putting it back together. The boat was completely stripped inside including drive trains, electrical and hydraulic systems etc. If anyone is interested in a vessel like this and has the 18K$ to negotiate with then I have a ton of information and detail to provide. The package includes a heavy duty licensed tri-axle trailer that was built in 2012. Full disclosure here: at the risk of sounding a little arrogant, this is a big project and a new owner would have to invest more money and a lot of time before getting it in the water. All work done on this project since 2008 has been completed by a good personal friend, my nephew, a licensed diesel mechanic and myself.
